Upper denture stuck, Help please

I used Fixodent Plus for the 1st time on my dentures over 24 hours ago and last night I was able to get my lower out but still can't remove my upper. I've tried warm water, hot water, hot coffee and mouth rinse several times and so far it isn't budging...any other ways possibly that I can get a moment without them in. Had I known the hold would have been so good I would've planned on eating steak or something

Same thing happened to me. It will come out. Try warm salt water and try rocking it side to side.

Wow to bad we cant get our bottom to hold like that, try a little warm water and baking soda swish in your mouth for a minute and rinse with warm water and then gently rock your upper back and forth.

You can close your lips, blow out of your mouth (just creating pressure really) letting the back of your tongue press on the back of the upper plate.  Open your mouth and press up on the back of the upper plate and then press forward.

Had the same thing happen to me using this Fixodent adhesive. So, I rock the plate gently side to side inside the mouth. Or eat something warm and slippery like oatmeal. Ok, hope one of these suggestions help.

When I got my dentures, the dentist told me never to bite into a whole apple using the front, as the pressure in that spot would pull the top plate right down. I am always one to test such rules and I can verify that's exactly what happened. It's much quicker than different fluid solutions and gently rocking and all that, but it's not without discomfort. But if it's a speedy removal you're after, there might be none better. See? We can use the impediments of dentures to serve a purpose!
Please forgive the joking nature of this reply. Without a little laughter, we'd all go crazy.

I wish I had this problem with my lowers. But if anyone has a problem getting their teeth out just eat a pickle. They will come right out. Love them.

I’m sure that’s a scary feeling. I have never had that problem. My swelling went down quick and my challenge has been keeping them in. Glad to hear you got them out
