Temporary denture doesn't fit and looks goofy

My concern is if that is an indication of what the final product will be like. My initial understanding was that I get a temporary denture before the full blown hybrid and then a few tweaks are made before the final product. The temporary denture doesn't fit in my mouth, I look like a squirrel wearing it, and it just falls out when I put it in. The final product, the hybrid with the implants, is 18,000 dollars for materials and labor so I'm sure there is no 'retake' once it is made.  I must admit I'm very disappointed so far and considering stopping the process now, even though all 16 of my top teeth were pulled 6 days ago.

Same.  My upper feels like I have Freddie Mercury's overbite!

Temps are the worst fitting set because they were molded with teeth still in your mouth, so they kinda had to guess at it.  After your gums fully heal and shrink, the fitting will be more precise and better feeling/looking (I hope!)
