pain

Post extraction- I had 9 uppers removed and new dentures put in. I was fine for two weeks then BAM! Severe pain lower left jaw area. I NEED SOMEONE TO TELL ME WHY? Thanks in advance

It could be that your dentures need adjusting if you have lowers in place. I'd check with your dentist to be sure.

I had jaw pain from pressure from the back of the denture but is your pain aching or sharp or what is the sensation? I noticed alot more jaw pain too if i didn't wear my denture because my jaw had never been able to shut so far. Possibly you might be doing it in your sleep. They don't recommend sleeping in your dentures. So maybe you are clenching your jaw at night since there is not any teeth to clench. If you check with your dentist keep us posted on what he recommends. Hope you get some relief!

Could be adjustments or could b that u were putting too much pressure in what you've been eating. After two weeks I started eating more softer foods and that was a mistake because my lower jaw was so sore. But check with ur dentist
