I rinse in warm salt water, many times, then use a paper towel. Eat something helps too.

A paper towel or tp will take most of it out.

I cut up a towel into many squares as the paper towels I have seem to breakup in my mouth.  The terry towel pieces I dab on the roof of my mouth and it adheres to that rag and then I use the salt water or mouth wash and it works great.  I throw the rags into the wash if I use the bigger ones.  Smaller ones I just toss away.  Good luck

Best idea after many others.......get organic coconut oil. Put a teaspoon or so in your mouth and swish 5 minutes or longer. Spit it in trash, not in plumbing or it will eventually clog pipes. After that I use mouthwash and seldom have to dig or scrub anymore. If you can use tapes, it leaves a lot less residue. Several companies have tapes now. BTW the coconut oil is good to use for other reasons. Google OIL PULLING.
