Trouble with gums

It has been almost 2 years now since I got a full upper. It fits well enough but I still have trouble eating with it. I use a ton of adhesive.
New problem has arisen. On the right side, it's as if the skin above the gum has become looser. I guess the bone on that side is shrinking more than the left side. It makes my denture more annoying to wear.
Does anybody else have this? Will get worse?
Thanks,
Nancy

Heya, your denture should have been remade, or redisgned or refitted especially as its a full uppr 6 months after you recieved, your bone loss and reshaping 2 years in will now be very minimal but your badly needing it refitted or realigned id imagine.

Hi, I had a hard realign done and it fits pretty well. It's just the actual skin above the gum is looser. I better ask the dentist about it. I don't think there's much to be done.

seems a bit weird really a dentist may very well apply stitches to that area of gum to get it tighter so to speak then give you another reline to compensate, i cant think of many ways they would harden loose gum tissue other that cutting out the soft area and stiitching up or attempting to stitch it tighter in the first place, but yeah id book an appointment and go in.

Thanks. I think I'll have to live with it for now. I have some surgery soon so teeth are just another aggravation
