Hi Barbara! When I got my cost estimate, they did not break it down this way.it was a total minus insurance cost minus coupon/promotional and the cash total amount due but I plan on going today for an adjustment I will see if I can get a detailed breakdown of it all. Thanks!

Any one going to have   Dental work done and has a job should participate  in a Medical set aside Tax program at their job
That will save about 20%  pr 25%  of the amount of salary up put aside
Ask your employer about it/
For example if you put aside $5,000 in salary for a year you will save about $1/000 to $1,500
in tax
You can even spend it before you save it

There is a dental Place in Cancun Mexico  that gave this price for implant secured dentures

This is  for some one that want a  denture stabilized with Two (2) implants

It would be great for people that want a lower bridge stabilized

The  2 implants would be a  snap on? for the denture

It would be providing   2 Full size implants AND 1 brand new Snap on denture would be

$3,180    USD

If they use their existing dentures the price would be

$2,600 USD

Before you select a dentist read this:

For all dentist work you should thoroughly research the dentist before getting any treatment. Private dentist prices and charges can vary widely, and just because a private dentist 's price is high doesn't nesessarily mean you are being ripped off, you might well be getting very high quality dental work. Like wise a very cheap dentist may still be providing high quality private dental care, but at a lower price.

The cost of dental work depends upon the circumstances and specifics of the job entailed. Therefore, it is difficult to say exactly how much, for example, a new bridge should cost. The prices on this websites are guidelines only. Just because an actual price is slightly more or less doesn't mean you are getting 'ripped off'. Note also that some dental work is subjective. One dentist may recommend a new bridge whilst another may suggest you'll be better off without one. If in doubt get a second opinion - if possible.

Preventative dentistry is better than cure, both in terms of how hard it hits your wallet and how much it hurts! Ideally you should visit your dentist every 6-12 months for a check up.

I went to affordable dentures, I had22 teeth pulled and 8 implants 4on top 4 on the bottom, the cost was not broken down 16,000 total cost.
I’m 2 months into the process and feeling this is the biggest mistake I’ve ever made.the temporary dentures are the worst! They just don’t fit! I have been back on average once or twice a week. Last week one of the implants started poking through on the bottom the dentist said it looked good and to just get a water pic and make sure I keep it clean. That area has been red and swollen since I had the procedure done and now the implant is poking through, the water pic hasn’t made a bit of difference. My periodontist fee was 50,000 but who has that kind of money? So that’s how I ended up at affordable dentures, but the dentist had great reviews online.

Hi linda
Welcome
We are here to   support and educate each other

$16,000??  That sounds OK??
8  implants without the crown I guess could cost $8,000??
plus the attachments for the clip on
Have you paid the  entire thing in front???
How much of the $16,000 have you paid??:
Did you put it on a charge??

I would ask Affordable  to break the bill down for you
If you are dissatisfied with these temporaries and they can
not make them right  you might want to go elsewhere for your
final permanent dentures

You are doing the right thing by going back week after week
Unfortunetly   you will have to continue to return  until they
make the temps correctly
Perhaps they have to give up  on these and make  entirely   new
temps as it sounds like they have botched these up

Can you ask them if there is some senior dentist in their
group that can consult with you and your dentist?
Can they give you a new dentist ?
Unless they get these temps right I would not trust
them to make the permanent dentures.

Ask them to break your bill down and figure how much you have already paid.
How much are they  charging you for the temps???

Do they  plan  on giving you a clip on removable denture?
That could  work well if they do it right

Keep us in the loop so you can help other people and yourself
Stay well
Barbara

Mine isn’t broken down by detail either. It is a comprehensive cost including fully sedated extractions, bone grafts, 11 implants, temporary dentures, final dentures, unlimited relines of temporaries, and whatever visits are necessary for complications or unexpected situations. And it involves 2 sedated surgeries. It’s the Hybridge process.

$28,000 per arch with 10% discount for full payment in advance. I have no insurance so don’t know if any of it would be covered. But it is tax deductible as a medical expense and you better believe I took it!

I don’t need it broken down. I have accepted it as the comprehensive cost. I have paid them. Once I decided to go forward, I decided to not think about it again. The actual process is much more on my mind than the money since I am a dental phobic. I am almost 7 months in and I am at the end of the process. I should have the teeth installed within the month. I have taken the onward and upward attitude towards this whole thing. Don’t look back. It’s really the only thing you can do once all your teeth are gone and they are step one in the process. And I’m not rich or anything but ordinary. I cashed in the Trump bump in my 401k at just the right time.

HI Janet
Good luck with this
I had all my uppers with all implants done about 10 years ago and it has
been so good.   Just a blessing.  I never had any trouble with them
Once I fell on my face and broke them but they just repaired them
The cost of the implants and extractions was $25,000.
It was the best money I have ever spent

All 11 of my implants are installed but I don't have the teeth yet.  Full uppers and lowers will be screwed in and only removable by the dentist when necessary.

Hi janet
I had all implants both  uppers and lowers more then  10  years ago
They have been wonderful
Not a peep of trouble or discomfort

I have never felt like   they were anything but perfect and like my own teeth
They were expensive for me and a stretch financially
I just pretended I bought and could  afford a Mercades Benz

By  now I have forgotten  the cost and I am so glad I did it

Quick explanation of two differing providers - my NHS Dentist did not feel that he was competent enough to build my dentures because of my overbite - he said he would try or otherwise he would refer me to a privat specialist. I chose the latter.

NHS Dentist
7 Extractions and lower partial denture = £204.00

Private Dentist
Consultations (2) and private full mouth xray = £250
1 Immediate Upper Denture = £800
1 permanent Upper Denture = £1500
1 permanent Lower partial denture = £900
