Should I get Them right away ?

or wait 6-8 weeks for swelling to go down and be healed? Iv made my appt. to have them pulled, what to do next? I need advice :)

I got them immediately and never regretted it. I've had to go back a couple of times to have temporary linings adjusted but after a few days, I appreciated having them.

There are benefits to both approaches. Getting them right away allows you begin learning how to use them and protects healing gums, keeps swelling down and preserve self esteem.

Waiting might get you a better initial fit with fewer return trips for adjustments. Immediate dentures tend to add to the cost of the treatment.

What does your dentist suggest?
