Just got perm dentures.

I just got perm dentures today, Since i have major bone loss on upper plate, that's hard to stay in place. I've used my immediate without any glue since it made me super sick. Now that its only acrylic for both plates, eating is harder again. Anyone with perms have this problem. I don't like to use glue, but may have no choice or some sort of reline to cushion when I eat. The top plate pinches because of the roof of the mouth problem.  Any tips? I had them shave down the back because it made me gag. I have a small mouth.

Sounds like you need a soft reline to start.

Don’t think you can get that after perms. I just hate using glue and the roof of mouth is causing me pain bad.

I agree with aud_cam. A soft liner may give you more comfort for the time being. It takes time getting adjusted to immediate dentures so hang in there. Check out www.yycdentureclinic.ca they have some great information about immediate dentures. They need to be relined after 6 months. Your mouth is still going through a lot of adjustments.
